"The framework:seasonal series of fund-raising audio releases continues with issue #6, another superb compilation of previously unreleased sounds by artists working in the field recording community. this selection features new names as well as several you’ve certainly heard before, all of whom are new to framework editions‘ release series. petra kapš (OR poiesis), kim walker, mathieu ruhlmann, sawako, david velez, éric la casa, tessa elieff (tattered kaylor), chris whitehead, and artificial memory trace."

The rather talented Patrick McGinley (AKA Framework Radio) has just released the 2013, Autumn edition (issue #6) for your listening pleasure. In the selection of sounds you will find my own composition, 'Booroomba to Borough', composed exclusively for Framework. For more details on the work please have a read of the track details. Copies of the release can be purchased via a €20 donation to the cause - and what a cause it is!

Enjoy,

Framework #404: 2013.01.20

- Am very happy to be included in the first Framework program of 2013, alongside of other fellow sound/field recording artists throughout the globe such as Roland Etzin, Mecha/Orga and Stefan Paulus. The mother broadcast was on Sunday the 20th of Jan (I'm a little late with the information I know....) but good news is the podcast is still available online and for download to abate your listening curiosity. I highly recommend having a look at the Framework archives on the days you crave to discover new sounds and sound artists who work with the delicacy of field recordings.

It was a much appreciated zap to my ego to find my material selected for the show and I hope to contribute moreso in the future! Australia currently has nothing even remotely close to this type of radio programming (favouring works focussed on field recordings) and it is encouraging to realise that your artistic community reaches far outside your local continent...

Happy belated 2013,
